Ngentak village located in Padukuhan Selorejo, Wukirsari Village, Cangkringan, Sleman regency of Yogyakarta. The location is situated 4 km from Pakem, and approximately 20 Km to the north from the city center. Selorejo hamlet is a hamlet located in the less strategic location, which is located at 300m from the road between cities, road-Kalasan Pakem. But has a captivating natural beauty.This hamlet has the potential of agriculture, fisheries and livestock high. In terms of agriculture, plantations and paddy fields in the village is very fertile. Its area is located on the slopes of Mount Merapi to make land in the region is suitable for agriculture, other than that this region has the potential of water is very abundant. The water flowing from the river discharge that has a large and clear water conditions make this area highly suitable for the fisheries sector. Fertile soil and cool climate also adds to the potential of this village in the livestock sector, due to the fertile soil, forage grasses available very much and also the mild climate makes animals become healthier.Social activities in the village Ngentak built up very good. Gotongroyongan activity is still a tradition that continues to be fostered well by the residents in this village. Harmony makes people very comfortable to live in this village and captivate. Although differences in socio-economic conditions as well as religion, society hamlet makes the difference is not a thing to be a barrier to creating harmony as the Republic of Indonesi.
Geographical
Ngentak hamlet located between 438000-438500 mT and 9154200-9155400 mU, which is in Padukuhan Selorejo has a total area of 597 447 m2 is Padukuhan Selorejo. To Padukuhan Selorejo itself consists of three sub-villages, which one among them is Hamlet Ngentak, to other villages namely: Keten Hamlet, Hamlet Selorejo. Ngentak hamlet located in RT RT 3 and 4 and included in RW 28.An administrative boundary is the hamlet Ngentak are:
North is the hamlet Surodadi,
East Hamlet Plupuh,
Keten south Hamlet, and Hamlet Selorejo,
west is the hamlet Bedoyo.
Population
Ngentak Selorejo hamlet has a number of heads of household 45kk.
Social, Economic and Cultural and ArtNgentak hamlet has a majority Muslim population, and a minority of Catholics. Harmony diverse in this village nurtured well. The mosque is a means of worship for the Moslem community, to a religion other than Muslim places of worship located in the hamlet Selorejo.Culture in the society is still well preserved. Traditions such as Thanksgiving, tahlilan, and Javanese traditional ceremonies still well preserved in these flats.art also adds to the beauty of Hamlet Ngentak Wukirsari Cangkringan, namely the presence of traditional art Jatilan Turonggo Manunggal Budoyo.Most of the residents in the hamlet Selorejo subsistence farmers. However, almost all the residents of this village have agricultural land, although their main job is not a farmer. In addition to the agricultural sector, residents in this village has a side business in fisheries and livestock sectors.
